The real reasons why Mr Dapo Abiodun is maniacally pursuing his agenda to rule Ogun State have emerged.
The revelations came from a top APC Leader in Surulere LGA of Lagos State, Chief Ishola Balogun.
According to the APC Chieftain, Mr Dapo Abiodun is a pure capitalist who believed politics is a business investments. ‘You sow to reap, you invest to make huge profit’
Investigation gathered showed that Mr Dapo Abiodun may have spent over One billion Naira in the last one month, unfortunately, this is not spent to the real grassroot politicians but to the members of the National Working Committee, NWC, and the Electoral Committee which came to Ogun State to conduct the phantom election which he claimed he won.
Mr Dapo Abiodun is reported to have settled the committee with over N400million and also, some selected members of the NWC took over N400million.
The sum of N500million was given to Lagos cabals to assist him in getting the governorship ticket of Ogun State by counterfeit or genuine means.
People can recall that Governor Ibikunle Amosun had told APC faithful how Mr Dapo Abiodun begged him to accept N2billion naira in exchange for Ogun governorship ticket which he rejected.
This same money that Amosun rejected is what Dapo Abiodun is using to prosecute his governorship ambition with the support of Lagos cabals.
Investigation conducted further revealed that there are three reasons why Dapo Abiodun and the Lagos cabals are interested in Ogun Governorship project.
The first is our common wealth. Ogun people are aware that the Federal Government is owing Ogun State N170b for some of the roads project executed by Governor Amosun and they believe the funds may not be released until the new administration comes in 2019. ‘So they want to spend N2b and eat our N170b’. What a people.
The second reason is that the Lagos cabal is bringing a tax company to Ogun State in 2019 as a consultant with a promise of 20% commission on a projected yearly N10b IGR. This is about N2b monthly or N24b yearly commission to the Lagos cabals.
The third reason is to install Mr Dapo Abiodun from Remo land as the next governor of Ogunn State and prepare the path for Solomon Adeola Olamilekan, a Senator from Lagos West to rule Ogun State after him. By this arrangement, Lagos cabal would have succeeded in the political colonisation of Ogun State.
According to Chief Tiamiyu Aborisade from Ewekoro, this is Ogun State and not Lagos. Osun people can succeed in colonizing Lagos, but not Ogun. Ogun State will refuse to be colonized by Lagos or Osun cabals. It is project that has failed at the concept stage. Ogun state is now indigenized and cannot be cabalised by any colonialist from Lagos. Chief Tiamiyu Aborisade concluded ‘any individual or cabal thinking of political colonization of Ogun State must be demented’
