The proprietor of Adedas foundation, Hon Prince Adedipe Dauda Ewenla has described the hypocritical impact of the southwest leaders as a tool of drawing the region backward among others.
The house of assembly candidate of Peoples Democratic Party PDP Alimosho constituency in the last election said some politicians who call themselves leaders are fighting for their personal pockets and not for the people.

"Years back when Jonathan changed University of Lagos name to Moshood Abiola University to honour our June 12 messiah, Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola MKO, some politicians who called themselves Yoruba leaders kicked against the move in their own personal interests. They sponsored some irrelevant musicians with Nollywood actors and actresses with their party members to protests against the federal government's decision then."
