Bayelsa Gubernatorial Aspirant Applauds Governor Dickson

Ahead of gubernatorial election slated for November in Bayelsa State, Chief Benson Sunday Agadaga has expressed satisfaction with the sitting governor, Seriake Dickson on how he has set standard for education in the state.

The gubernatorial aspirant made this known in his office in Yenagoa while he was speaking with newsmen.

Chief Benson Sunday Agadaga who is among the twenty two aspirants in People Democratic Party ( PDP)  said the sitting governor has established good standard in the area of education and he will always applaud him for that.

According to him "The governor is doing his best . Educationally , Governor Dickson  has established a good standard in the educational sector in the state. I will applaud him very well in the area of education" he said.

The PDP gubernatorial aspirant who is the only longest public serving officer  in the state said infrastructural development is one of the challenges facing the state which he promised to address if he is elected into office.

He lamented about youths restiveness that is on  increase everyday . He said Bayelsa alone has three Higher institutions that produce graduates every year without a particular place or company for them to work . He then promised to make Bayelsa an industrial state if elected into office.

The former UBE chairman , who admitted that management of resources apart natural challenges   is one of  the major problems  confronting the state . Also , he said there is need to build bridges between two communities because Bayelsa state is water lodge and transportation is another big problem that need to be tackle if elected.

Chief Sunday  Benson Agadaga blamed insecurity in Bayelsa to hunger that is ravaging the land . He said  there is need for them to industrialize the state to accommodate the unemployed graduates most especially in the area of Agriculture.

Talking about the local government poll slated for Saturday 10th the gubernatorial aspirant said Bayelsa state is a PDP state and it will take any other party miracle to win in any local government amongst the eight local government in   the state.

He then appealed to electoral umpire in the state to conduct free, fair and credible election in the coming Local Government polls in the state . He thanked the governor for giving all of them the opportunity to express their desire to govern the state.
