The Ogun VIO Head Operation , Engineer Babalola Taofeek has highlighted three major factors responsible for road accident we witness on our highways .
Engineer Babalola who spoke during the two day workshop organized for Driving school Proprietors Association in Ogun State at Amazon Grace Event Centre , Abeokuta said human factor , mechanical factor and environmental factor are the major cause .
The VIO southwest co-ordinator of VIO said the human factor factor cover the aspect of the driving school because they are the one that produce the driver on the road and the orientations given to them by all these Driving school Proprietors is what they follow . Therefore , there is urgent need for us to train them .
Engineer Babalola therefore suggested to manage and to produce good and reliable drivers license , one government agency should be in charge just as we have immigration in charge of us International Passport . He said if this is done , there will be sanity in the area of issuance of drivers license .
