The promise by President Muhammadu Buhari led government on corruption in Nigeria has not yielded any fruit since he took over government in 2015. The APC led government has prosecuted a few numbers of political opponents but with little or no result.
The news reaching us about the Banker who allegedly exposed former Governor of a State of Money Laundering is very discouraging. We gathered that Mr. Oliver Nosa has fled the country with his family for fear of being killed.
We heard from a reliable source that the banker left the country after he was released by the kidnappers who adopted him for several days in an attempt to prevent him from talking to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
However, his sudden disappearance is not unconnected with the fact that his maximum protection could not be guaranteed by the Nigeria police force.
