Jubilation as Toyin Sogbesan becomes OGBC new General Manager

The Ogun State Government has approved the appointment of Mrs Toyin Sogbesan as the new General Manager, Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, OGBC.

Sogbesan was the assistant General Manager on Programme Services before her  new appointment.

This was made known in a statement signed and issued by the Ogun State Head of Service, Alhaja Selimot Ottun which indicated that the appointment takes effect from 18th December, 2020, it was a reward for hard work, dedication to duty and outstanding performance.

Sogbesan is a graduate of English from the Ogun State University now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, She is a seasoned broadcaster who has contributed immensely to the broadcasting industry in the Nigeria.

The appointment letter reads:

"it gives me great pleasure to inform you that, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR governor of Ogun State has approved your appointment as the General Manager of Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation with effect 18th December, 2020.

"Please, accept my hearty congratulations on this well deserved elevation, which no doubt is a reward for your many years of hard work, dedication to duty and outstanding performance."
