Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has been reportedly spotted on crutches in Katsina State.
The former Governor of Rivers State was invited to Kaita Local Government Area of the State to commission an orphanage home and Arabic school on Friday.
The home and school was reportedly built by lawmaker representing Katsina Constituency at the State House of Assembly, Senator Abubakar Aliyu Albaba.
Circumstances surrounding Amaechi’s broken leg cannot be ascertained as at press time but in the photos seen on social media, he cannot walk without support.
Meanwhile, Amaechi has said the Transportation University in Daura, Katsina State will be completed by September 2021.

Giving reason for the delay in completion, the minister said the project is a gift from China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) and not a railway contract.
“Don’t forget that it is a gift, so they may not be as dedicated as they will be when it comes to a proper contract”, he said.
The project will also entail the construction of a primary and secondary school.
