Bullet’s most-priced signee, Wendy Addo, fondly called Wendy Shay in the showbiz circles has landed in a hot soup with YouTube as they delete her new single dubbed “Pray For The World”.
Wendy Shay released the song, on 31st December 2020 to mark the end of a year and highlight some of the lows the year brought to the lives of many.
But just when the song was getting some buzz online, Youtube has deleted it from their platform.
Per what we have gathered, Youtube deleted the song because Wendy Shay somehow sampled the popular ‘Jerusalema’ beat for her new single and as such, it got reported.
Earlier on Twitter, the producer of the song, MOG Beats went hard on Ghanaians who allegedly out of hate for Wendy reported her to get the song deleted.
He wrote in a tweet seen; “Why am hearing that a group of people went to report Wendy Shay’s “Pray For The World” video and now YouTube has taken it down for what?!! I am angry!!. Ow Ghana so this is how bad you guys hate @wendyshaygh? I am disappointed I cannot lie to you!”
In reaction to this, Wendy Shay also took to Instagram to claim that she was taking Youtube on legally because they have treated her wrongly.
Her comment sighted reads:
@mogbeatz this is the Country we are living in ooo …I will fight for my right because Pray for the World has a different chord progression from Jerusalem.
SHAYGANG don’t worry my lawyers are dealing with YouTube
