The Ogun State All Progressives Congress (APC) Registration committee led by Hon Ademorin Kuye has commended the leadership of Abeokuta South local government APC for transparent, accountability and orderly conduct of the ongoing party membership registration and revalidation exercise.
Speaking while monitoring the registration exercise at Ward 1,Polling Unit 10 and unit 8 , Ward 6 Senator Ibikunle Amosun polling unit in Abeokuta South Local government.
The Ogun State Chair commended the leadership of APC for making the registration and revalidation of members a seamless exercise, called on members of the ruling party, especially in Ogun State to revalidate their membership by visiting their various units and wards for the same purpose.
He threw his weight behind the exercise at the local government as he reiterated his commitment to the course of the APC in Abeokuta South Local government in particular and Ogun state in general.
The Chairman who noted that APC is the largest party in the whole of Africa called on party stakeholders to forgo their differences and collaborate in mobilizing people to utilize the opportunity provided by the exercise.
Contrary to the report that the exercise was not holding at Abeokuta South local government,the committee chairman and members were surprised to see the registration going on smoothly, without any hindrance by anybody.
”The task given to us to ensure a comprehensive data of the party membership is a serious one.
“If we handle the responsibility well, the party will sleep well but if we don’t handle it well, we will leave a lot of challenges for the party.
Speaking earlier, the Local government Chairman of the All Progressive Congress Hon Henry Agbomola said the party commence unit to unit and Ward to ward registration as he maintained that the revalidation and registration exercise also gives room for the party to know it’s numerical strength since 2013 of establishment.
