Vigilante Group of Nigeria has condemn in totality, the ethnic crisis occuring in some parts of the country, while appealing to all in Nigeria to see fellow brothers and sisters as Nigerians.
This was contained in a statement from the Commander General, Usman Mohammed Jahun signed by the spokesman of the command, Nureni Olanrewaju Adedoyin, a copy made available to a reporter this evening.
Adedoyin said the Commander General condemns the occurrence in Sasa in Ibadan as well as attacks in some parts of Yewa land.
He further stated that "the Commander General is optimistic that the Federal Government will do the best to forestall peace in all the affected areas.
"Directives has been given to the National PRO and Commanders in all the affected States to work hands in a glove with all security agencies to forestall peace and tranquillity.
"The members of the public are enjoined to observe the law of the land and give necessary information to the nearest VGN formation so as to enhance restoration of peace in the affected areas." he concluded.
