The All Progressive Congress APC, Osun State has endorsed Governor Gboyega Oyetola for second term, the endorsement was announced in the All Progressive Congress APC Apex meeting of Federal constituency held at the residence of the leader of the Zone the former deputy Governor of Osun State, Sooko Adeleke Adewoyin.
Also in attendance was Engr Chief Bashir Awotorebo former state minister for Water Resources,Hon Rotimi Makinde ,former member of the house of representatives, Engr Tunde Awofisayo Osun state Apc legal adviser ,Hon Lekan Omidiora,Hon Omolade Binuyo,Hon Wahab Adetunji Olowo Asalu and Hon Kayode Akintifonbo who served as secretary .
According to press statement made available by KAYODE AKINTIFONBO, For Apc Apex Body Ife federal constituency Osun State, Below is the communique issued on the 7th of March 2021.
That the body express their satisfaction and delight in the on going conduct of members on registration and validation exercise and therefore call on members of the party to continue to enlarge the coast and to encourage the public to see the exercise as an opportunity to join the party.
The body unanimously welcomed the total realignment of Senator Iyiola Omisore and promised to see him as a partner in progress.
The leadership of the party also appreciate all the good and noble works of the government of Alh Gboyega Oyetola in the zone despite the meagre resources available and that òn behalf of all members of the party hereby passed vote of confidence on him and sincerely encourage him to throw in his hat for second term.
The leadership took critical assessment of unwarranted,and unnecessary vituperation and comments credited to the former governor of the state Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola,frowned at it and consequently condemned it in strong term.
The body call on all party members of the constituency to begin to see loyalty and unity accross the land as the topmost priority to enable the party consolidate on the successes being recorded by the present government of Alh Gboyega Oyetola
