Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has commiserated with the former NTA Director of Programmes Mr. Raheem A. Yusuf (Uncle Ray) over the death of his mother and matriarch of the family, Madam Sifawu Oyeladun Yusuf.
“I send my sincere condolences to the family of Madam Yusuf, especially her venerable son and veteran broadcaster Mr. Raheem A. Yusuf popularly known as Uncle Ray. At age 110, Mama clearly enjoyed God’s rare grace of long life and good health. Importantly, she was remarkably popular for being the kind and friendly matriarch who brought families and friends together. Her modesty and sense of duty to God and man were known to all who ever met with her, and these fine qualities run in the family,” the Governor said in a personal condolence message to the veteran broadcaster.
“On behalf of my family, people and government of Kwara State, I commiserate with Mama’s family and beseech Allah to accept her good deeds and grant her al-jannah Firdaus.”
