The Ogun State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday at the Chapter's Secretariat, Oke Ilewo, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
A statement released by the Chapter Exco, noted that The AGM, which is scheduled to commence by 1pm, will, among other items, feature election of new officers into the Chapter's Executive Committee, and presentation of a variety of reports of the Chapter's activities during the period under review.
The Chapter Chairman, Mr. Lekan Togunwa stated that preparations for the programme were in top gear, adding that the Institute's registrar, Mr. Kayode Yeku will also the at the event.
A fellow of the Institute, Mr. Akin Okudero who is the Chapter's Electoral Committee Chairman for the election, noted that all was set for the election. "Candidates have been screened, the election materials are in place and the ground rules have been set", Okudero said.
The officers that will emerge on Wednesday will pilot the affairs of the Chapter for a statutory tenure of two years.
